Introduction to the Fuego Test Framework

Abstract

The Fuego test framework was created to test the LTSI kernel tree. This talk will describe that framework, including features specially designed for testing embedded systems. A short-term goal is integration of Fuego with kselftest, to provide an easy mechanism to manage kernel testing. The current status of Fuego, along with the roadmap for future features, will be presented.

    Biography

    Tim Bird is a Senior Software Engineer for Sony Mobile Communications, where he helps Sony improve the Linux kernel for use in Sony’s products. Tim is also the Chair of the Architecture Group of the Core Embedded Project of the Linux Foundation. Tim has been working with Linux for over 20 years.
