Dynamic device management in an LXC environment
This proposal has been accepted as a session.
One Line Summary
A proposed framework to allow I/O devices (displays, keyboard, mice) to be dynamically bound and unbound to an LXC container
Abstract
In the absence of a namespace aware devtmpfs, LXC containers traditionally have issues with /dev. With a few minor kernel modifications and the addition of a namespace aware daemon, udevns, the container see only those events appropriate for that container. This talk will describe an implementation of such as system, and how it extends the set of applications for which containers can be used.
