Switching OpenMandriva to clang
This proposal has been accepted as a session.
One Line Summary
Experiences OpenMandriva made while changing the distribution's default compiler to clang 3.5
Abstract
OpenMandriva’s next big release will use clang as its default compiler – almost all packages have been rebuilt with it.
This talk will show common things that went wrong (and how to fix them), where we’re still using “CC=gcc CXX=g++” to make packages compile, and start a discussion about what we can do to improve clang support in Open Source projects in general.
