One Line Summary
Controlling the network bandwidth with traffic control for multimedia applications on mobile networks
Abstract
On mobile networks where the available bandwidth is variable, it is difficult to accommodate the rendering of a web-radio/video stream with other background downloads. In this talk, I will present the approach used in tcmmd to control the ingress bandwidth used by multimedia applications and other applications.
Then I will bring some ideas I had on how to play nice with other traffic control applications.
