One Line Summary

How to use all the skill in a team to improve your project

Abstract

Modern day developers are rarely skilled in one single skill. Open source developers more than that, usually forced to know well several due the nature of the process.
In large projects, a huge team present a big diversity in skills and knowledge that can be usefull for not only their own tasks but in several parts of the whole project.
Techniques like Scrum not take account of this value, since the task is assigned to an individual by the project leader or scrum master. Mostly the developer is assigned for a task that fits their skill, but can be useful for other tasks as well. The idea is treat whole team as a process balancing terms, evaluating the tasks versus the skill and where a small help in one task instead of assign a new complete task, bringing benefits for the whole project.
The process will be shown how not treat programmers as simple resources and use this definitive social management skill among all task force in the project or company, allowing reducing time spent or increasing the quality results without burden other relative upset issues, like cost and overtime budgets.
