Abstract
ktest.pl has been in the kernel since 2.6.38. It is a testing framework to automate various testing. It can test patch sets, individual builds, bisecting and more. The focus of this discussion will be on how people currently use ktest.pl and what more can be added to it.

Biography
Steven Rostedt has been working with the Linux kernel since 2001. He currently works for Red Hat working in their Messaging Real-time Grid (MRG) division. He created and maintains Ftrace, the official Linux kernel tracer, and is the current real-time kernel stable maintainer.
