Kernelscope: Live debugging at scale
Session information has not yet been published for this event.
One Line Summary
This talk will cover kernelscope, a tool we use inside of Facebook to debug complex problems.
Abstract
Facebook has an mind boggling number of servers. Those servers run a mind boggling variety of services. These services are often complex and run into strange latency problems that are impossible to break down into reproduce-able chunks. Enter kernelscope, a bpf based tracing service. Using this tool we are able to tease out patterns of problems in large and complex systems in production with very little overhead.
