Checkpoint/restore of containers with CRIU
This proposal has been accepted as a session.
One Line Summary
Current status and plans for LXC/Docker and CRIU integration.
Abstract
Checkpoint-restore has been a temping feature of Linux Containers for quite a long time. Now this is becoming possible with the CRIU project.
So far CRIU has been existing by its own, without integration with any other tools and projects. Nowadays OpenVZ, LXC and Docker projects are interested in tight integration with it to achieve such features and containers live-migration and snapshots.
We will discuss where we are now with this, what issues we have and where we plan to move next.
