Abstract

- Logging and Tracing in car environments.
- Introduction into demands of testing in car
- Introduction into DLT standard in AUTOSAR and implementation in GENIVI
- Brainstorming all logging sources in a Linux system which could be relevant for error analysis (kernel trace, journald, bootchart, DBus Monitor, Resource Monitoring, Core Dumps, Screenshots etc.)
- Discuss how all possible sources of logging can be brought together into a single interface
- Define a SW architecture for complete Linux Logging and Tracing
