One Line Summary

Abstract

BlueZ is the official Linux Bluetooth Stack and has been used successfully both in the mobile and desktop world, but now it faces a new challenge: enter in the automotive world. During most of its lifetime BlueZ was developed with mobile use-case in mind which is quite different from the automotive needs. In this talk it will shown how BlueZ has been facing this and what we are planning for the future.

  Gustavo Padovan holds a B.S. Computer Science from the University of Campinas, Brazil and is a Free Software enthusiastic. He is the Linux Kernel maintainer of the Bluetooth Subsystem. Gustavo is a Software Engineer at Collabora Ltd.
