One Line Summary

Abstract

Recent systemd versions took over primary control of the control group hierachy, following a push from the cgroups maintainer to move to a unified tree. In this session we want to discuss the concepts and APIs systemd introduces to make the functionality available to other programs. We will discuss the reasons for the move, and what will happen in the next years.
