Embedded Linux easier

One Line Summary
An approach to making it easier to work with embedded Linux
Abstract
While there are many server and client focused Linux distributions, the vast majority of the market is covered by a small handful of flavors and their derivatives.
The embedded Linux market is quite different, to cover 80% of the market you need to work with hundreds of different tool sets, root images, kernels, BSPs, etc.
What would it take to make embedded Linux easier for developers? What would it take make it easier to create a working starting point for a specific board? To collect BSPs, to have the right tools in one place that work on the majority of the architectures and boards?
This talk will discuss an attempt to tackle this problem.
