Discuss state of KGDB and other kernel debug technologies.

Abstract

Now that KGDB/KDB are merged into the upstream kernel, we can start thinking about what is next in terms of kernel debug technology. Come share your questions about kernel debugging, your stories about challenging situations you had to debug, and your ideas for features and technology direction.

    Biography

    Deepak Saxena is currently a Linux kernel developer for Mentor Graphics and prior to that he has been involved with kernel work at One Laptop Per Child, MontaVista Software, and Intel working on broad range of areas including I/O drivers, debuggers, and ARM board bringup.
